About Us
Mokgalabone has extensive experience in Labour law, having worked as the National Legal Officer of the South African Transport and Allied Workers (SATAWU), (2004 to 2008) and as the Employee Relations Adjudicator for at Edcon (Pty) Ltd.
Mokgalabone has been involved in some high-profile litigation Labour/employment law cases while still at SATAWU and while in private practice as an attorney. In 2001, Mokgalabone was the lead attorney in the Court ‘a quo’, in the landmark case of Buthelezi vs Municipal Demarcation Board (JA37/2002) [2004] ZALAC 15, which is a leading authority on the termination of fixed term contracts. Other landmark cases include Mather and Other vs Lanseria Commercial Crossing and Others LCC196/2010) [2011] ZALCC 15 (15 December 2011).
